Consists of individual time with a Registered Behavior Technician, working on the most crucial skills, such as communication and language, learning to learn skills (imitation, receptive, visual performance, labeling and conversation skills), and play skills. This time could also include social group time, but the learner will have their own RBT as a shadow. This therapy time is split between therapy at the center and at home. (includes potty training, food refusal, behavior management, skill acquisition, communication training, community outing).
Our day program is designed for children 0-5, who are not in preschool, or have tried mainstream preschools but have not been successful, and have a language, communication, social or learning delay. We structure the day to resemble a preschool environment, as our long-term goal is to be able to mainstream our learners into a less restrictive environment, such as a typical preschool. In their five hour day, the learners will receive different combinations of one-to-one ABA therapy, social skills groups, and mock classroom environment, dictated by their needs.
This service is to help children generalize the skills they are learning in their one to one and social group therapy. A learner will be shadowed by a RBT in a social environment, such as on the playground, on a play-date, at the zoo, at the supermarket, at the mall, or any other activity the family is usually involved in. This service can be used as both a one to one service, and a social group service.
This service is conducted by a RBT in a school setting.
ABA techniques applied to food selective and food refusal behaviors.
Will include large group instruction training, classroom routine training, daily specials (music, art, touch and feel, cooking, scienceā¦), independent center play, table toys play, academic instructions (“letter of the week”), and transitional skills needed to be able to succeed in a less restrictive environment, such as a mainstream pre-K classroom. The ratio will be about 4 to 6 students to every registered behavior technician or teacher.
For each family that comes through our door, an intensive assessment will be conducted to evaluate the strengths and deficits of each learner. This will be accomplished through interviews of the caregivers, direct observation, functional behavioral assessments, and curriculum based assessments (VB Mapp and ABLLS-R). A treatment plan will be written based on the results of the assessment and will include a behavior management plan, skill acquisition, social skills, play skills, and communication plan. This will be conducted every six months.
Consist of three to six children with one Registered Behavior Technician (usually, at least one of those children is a peer model). During this time, learners work on individual goals of social skills, peer play and small group instruction skill training.
This involves teaching early social skills to beginning learners, in a small group (two to three children), with a one to one RBT for each child in the group.
This service is provided when the child is ready for elimination training. This service will also be provided on a one-to-one basis with a registered behavioral technician

The caregivers are taught the basics of behavior management, communication trainings, data collection, and skill acquisition. We also address any individual concerns that the family encounters in their day to day life. The trainings are provided individually (BCBA consultation), as well as in workshop/group settings.
