For each family that comes through our door, an intensive assessment will be conducted to evaluate the strengths and deficits of each learner. This will be accomplished through interviews of the caregivers, direct observation, functional behavioral assessments, and curriculum-based assessments.

Project Brilliance’s ABA assessment consist of using both the Verbal Behavior Milestones Assessment and Placement Program (VB Mapp) as well as the Assessment of Basic Language and Learning Skills – Revised (ABLLS-R). A treatment plan will be written based on the results of the assessment and will include a behavior management plan, skill acquisition, social skills, play skills, and communication plan. This will be conducted every six months.
